Sketches in Thyme #101

Here's the latest sketch from Sketches in Thyme.

To create my layout I used some of the techniques I have been learning about from the Curious Scrapbooker's Field Guide course by May Flaum. I used Adirondacks Snow Cap acrylic paint and a stencil to create my main background. I then used my Victoria & Albert stamp set to create my vertical strip. I dug through my very old stash and found some silver meshing which I stapled onto my cardstock. To add some colour to my layout, I used some solid blue paper for my journalling strip and red alpha stickers from Crate Paper. My last touch was to add some buttons for some more texture.

I had loads of fun trying things I've never done before. I'm pretty happy with how they all pulled together.
