I loved the bright colours and that she just used stripes of pattern paper.
So for my take on her card, I chose bright pattern papers and layered in stripes too. Normally I stamp onto something I then adhere so if it isn't clean, it doesn't matter. I tried going directly on the card and didn't quite get it right - I wonder if there is an easy way to recover from that?
Hi Rita, The background pattern really captures the colors in this week's Muse card!
ReplyDeleteGreat card--love how you pulled out one color for the sentiment instead of using black.
ReplyDeleteLove the background pattern and the sentiment in the middle! Great take on the Muse's card! :)

love your take on the sketch , espc the background paper!
ReplyDeleteThis is so fun and cheerful. Such a great take on the inspiration photo. P.S.--you may want to turn off your word verification to make it easier for people to leave comments on your beautiful work.
ReplyDeleteI didn't realise I had word verification on - thanks for letting me know. Hopefully I have now turned it off. Thanks for commenting.
DeleteWord verification is automatically enabled on Blogger - isn't that frustrating?! Ugh!
ReplyDeleteAs for an easy way to recover from a mis-stamping happening...this happens to me all the time! Usually it's a smudge. You can cut a new panel the same size, stamp on it, and then adhere it directly or with foam tape. That's my personal favourite trick :) Or, just pretend you meant to do that. That's my other favourite ;)
Love your bright colours. x
