Flattered

They say imitation is the best form of flattery. I hope Lisa Dickinson thinks so, as I scrap lifted one of her layouts recently.

Here's her layout.


I love the black and white photo's and the circles. I love the two focal circles - one like a basketball and one with her son's first initial. I love the elegance of the layout.

My take on it is not quite the same.

 

For starters, I don't have any black and white photo's and second, all my photo's are printed at 4x6 (I do bulk printing through snapfish). And I didn't put anything in my two focal circles - I simply let the border be enough. As I don't have a printer at home, I tend to hand write all my journalling (thankfully I don't mind my handwriting).

Overall, I'm quite pleased with how the layout turned out. What do you think?
